AI collections for pest control
AI collections software for pest control companies using FieldRoutes.
Good Ops works the routine overdue-balance follow-up your office would otherwise do by hand: it checks current FieldRoutes account data, texts eligible customers a secure portal link, follows with a courtesy call, and sends exceptions back to your team.
Best fit and limits
Built for a narrow job on FieldRoutes.
Good Ops is a fit when the system of record is already FieldRoutes and the job is consistent first-party courtesy reminders. The limits are intentional.
Best fit
- Pest control companies using FieldRoutes, formerly PestRoutes
- Owners who want to start with one branch and expand deliberately
- Teams that want routine texts and calls automated while staff handle exceptions
What it is not
- Not a replacement for FieldRoutes billing, invoices, or the customer portal
- Not available for PestPac or other CRMs today
- Not a negotiation, payment-plan, card-capture, or third-party collections service
Workflow
From current balance to a clear next action.
Each enabled branch follows its own minimum balance, waiting period, daily cap, and attempt limit.
- 01
Read the current FieldRoutes book
Each weekday morning, Good Ops checks active customers, responsible balance age, contact preferences, autopay, payment holds, open invoices, and recent payments for enabled branches. - 02
Build only the eligible queue
The branch's age, balance, phone, preference, hold, opt-out, and attempt rules determine who can receive outreach that day. - 03
Text the secure payment path
Eligible customers who accept text reminders receive a neutral balance reminder and their FieldRoutes customer portal link. - 04
Place a courtesy call if still unpaid
After the configured waiting period, the AI calls during local calling hours, identifies the company, states the balance, and points the customer to the texted portal link. - 05
Stop, record, or hand off
A posted payment removes the account from later runs. Opt-outs and attempt limits also stop outreach. Disputes, prior-payment claims, and arrangement requests return to the office.
Eligibility and exclusions
Contact the accounts that match your written rules.
The default starting point is 30 or more days past due, but every enabled branch controls the minimum balance, pacing, and volume.
Eligible starting group
- Active customers 30 or more days past due
- Responsible balance above the branch minimum
- Usable phone number on the FieldRoutes account
- Office included in the branch rollout
Excluded before outreach
- Customers on autopay
- Customers with phone reminders turned off
- Accounts with a payment hold date
- Customers who opted out by text or phone
- Accounts that reached the configured attempt limit
Secure portal payment
Customers pay in the FieldRoutes portal you already use.
Good Ops does not ask for card details in a call or text. It sends the customer to the existing FieldRoutes payment experience.
A direct portal link
The text opens that customer's FieldRoutes portal without requiring them to remember a password. They can review and pay the balance there instead of sharing payment details with the AI.
FieldRoutes remains the record
The payment posts to the customer's FieldRoutes account. Good Ops reads the result back, removes paid accounts from later runs, and preserves the outreach and payment timeline for the office.

Human handoff
The AI stops where judgment starts.
Routine reminders stay consistent. Customer questions that need account authority or discretion remain with your people.
Sent to the branch
Disputes, reports of an existing payment, and payment-plan or arrangement requests go back to the office.
Callbacks reach a person
Voicemail uses the branch callback number, and customers who call it reach that branch rather than another bot.
Unresolved accounts stay visible
Accounts that reach the attempt limit stop receiving AI calls and remain available for staff follow-up.

Methodology and limits
The snapshot counts branch and call-outcome records in the Good Ops production call ledger through September 10, 2026. The total call count is rounded; answered and voicemail counts are the recorded outcomes. These figures measure outreach activity, not revenue, recovery rate, or payment attribution.
Questions
AI collections software FAQ.
Who is Good Ops AI Collections built for?
It is built for pest control companies that use FieldRoutes and want routine overdue-balance follow-up handled branch by branch. It does not currently support PestPac or act as a general billing replacement.
Which past-due customers are eligible?
A typical branch starts with active customers at least 30 days past due, above its minimum balance, with a usable phone number. Each branch controls its own settings and daily cap.
Which customers are excluded from automated reminders?
Good Ops excludes customers on autopay, customers with phone reminders turned off, accounts with a payment hold date, customers who opted out, and customers who reached the configured attempt limit.
Does the AI take card details or negotiate payment plans?
No. The AI uses a neutral courtesy-reminder script. It does not take card numbers, negotiate, set up payment plans, or threaten collections. Those conversations go to the branch office.
Where does the customer pay?
The texted link opens the customer's secure FieldRoutes portal without requiring them to remember a password. Payment happens in FieldRoutes and posts to the account there.
What does Good Ops AI Collections cost?
AI Collections costs $400 per branch per month when billed annually, or $500 per branch on month-to-month billing.
