Automated collections

Automated collection calls for pest control businesses.

Good Ops handles the repetitive collection calls your office would otherwise make. It texts each eligible customer a secure FieldRoutes payment link, follows with a polite AI call if the balance stays open, and sends disputes or payment-plan requests back to your team.

Why automate

Work the aging report without handing your office another call list.

Built for pest control owners who want consistent follow-up without turning customer service into a collections desk.

Replace repetitive manual dialing

Good Ops checks FieldRoutes each weekday, contacts only eligible past-due customers, and repeats the same approved courtesy reminder consistently. Your team does not have to build a list or work through it one number at a time.

Keep control branch by branch

Turn offices on separately and adjust the minimum balance, waiting period, daily cap, and attempt limit. Local calling hours, contact preferences, and opt-outs still govern every message.

Hand exceptions to a person

The agent does not negotiate or change an account. Disputes, reports of an existing payment, and payment-plan requests go back to the branch, and customer callbacks ring your office.

See what happened after outreach

The dashboard shows who was texted or called, who engaged, and which customer-driven payments followed. Your team can focus on the accounts that still need a human decision.

Who gets contacted

Only customers who are actually overdue and reachable.

Each weekday morning Good Ops checks your FieldRoutes book and builds that day's list.

Included

  • Active customers 30 or more days past due
  • A balance above your minimum
  • A usable phone number on the account
  • Branches you have turned on

Left alone

  • Customers on autopay
  • Customers with phone reminders turned off in FieldRoutes
  • Accounts with a payment hold date (already on an arrangement)
  • Anyone who opted out by replying STOP or asking not to be called
  • Customers who already reached the attempt limit

The sequence

Text first, then a courtesy call.

  1. 01

A text with a secure payment link

Customers who accept text reminders get a short message with their balance and a link to their FieldRoutes customer portal. The link logs them straight in, with no password.
  2. 02

A call if the balance is still open

After a waiting period (five days by default), an AI voice agent calls during local calling hours. It says which company it is calling for, states the balance, and points to the texted link.
  3. 03

    Questions answered from live data

If the customer asks what the balance is for, the agent looks up their open invoices and last payment in FieldRoutes and answers in plain language.
  4. 04

    Voicemail and callbacks

If nobody answers, the agent leaves a short voicemail with the branch callback number. Calling that number back reaches your office, not a bot.
  5. 05

    Payment in the portal

The customer pays through the link. The payment posts in FieldRoutes, and on the next scan the account drops off the list.
  6. 06

    Spaced, limited follow-up

If the balance stays open, follow-ups are spaced days apart, never more than one a day, and stop after a set number of attempts. Those accounts are then flagged for your team.

Day 6, still unpaid: courtesy call

Good Ops: Hi Maria, this is a courtesy call from Riverside Pest Control about your account. It shows a balance of $142.00, and we just texted you a secure link to pay it.

Customer: Oh, I missed that. What was it for?

Good Ops: It's for your quarterly service on September 3rd. The link opens your customer portal, so you can pay there whenever it's convenient.

Customer: Okay, I'll take care of it tonight.

Good Ops: Thanks, Maria. If you have any questions, you can call the office back at this number. Have a great day.

Guardrails

A reminder, not a collections agency.

Every text and call is a first-party courtesy reminder from your company about its own invoices.

What the agent will not do

It does not negotiate, set up payment plans, take card numbers by phone, or warn about collections. The wording is the same neutral reminder whether a balance is 30 days or 120 days old.

When it hands off

Disputes, "I already paid," and payment-plan requests go to your office. The customer is told to call the branch back, and the callback is logged.

Opt-outs that stick

Replying STOP or asking not to be called adds the customer to a do-not-contact list. Replying START removes them from it.

Questions

Overdue-balance reminder FAQ.

What if the customer already paid?

The agent asks them to call the branch so your team can check. Once a payment posts in FieldRoutes, the account drops off the next morning's list.

Which number does the call come from?

Each branch gets its own local caller number, and calling it back reaches that branch.

Can we change the timing?

Yes. The waiting period, attempt limit, and daily cap are all adjustable, and branches can be turned on one at a time.

What does it cost?

AI Collections is priced per branch. See pricing.

Hear it on your own accounts.

We will show which of your customers would get a reminder and play a sample call with your company name.
