FieldRoutes integration

Collections automation built for FieldRoutes.

AI Collections connects to your FieldRoutes (formerly PestRoutes) account, finds customers with overdue balances every weekday morning, texts them a secure link to pay, and follows up with a courtesy call. Customers pay through your FieldRoutes customer portal, so the payment lands in FieldRoutes like any other portal payment.

How it plugs in

It reads FieldRoutes. Your team keeps working in FieldRoutes.

Good Ops connects through the FieldRoutes API with your account's API credentials and only looks at the offices you turn on. Nothing is migrated and there is no new system of record.

What Good Ops reads from FieldRoutes

  • Active customers and their responsible balance, including how many days it has been past due
  • Phone numbers and contact preferences, including the phone-reminder setting
  • Autopay profiles and payment hold dates, so those customers are left alone
  • Unpaid invoices and recent payments, so the call can answer basic balance questions
  • The customer portal login link that customers use to pay

Where payments go

The texted link opens the customer's own FieldRoutes customer portal, with no password to remember. They pay there, so the payment posts to their FieldRoutes account like any other portal payment. Good Ops never takes card numbers over the phone.

Good Ops reads those payments back from FieldRoutes and matches them to the text or call that came before them.

Call and text flow

What happens to a past-due account, step by step.

Each enabled branch runs on its own settings. The defaults below are what a new branch starts with, and each one is adjustable.

  1. 01

    Morning scan

Every weekday morning, Good Ops pulls active customers who are 30 or more days past due on their responsible balance in each enabled office. Accounts below a minimum balance or without a usable phone number are skipped.
  2. 02

    Exclusions from FieldRoutes

Customers on autopay, customers with phone reminders turned off, accounts with a payment hold date, and anyone who has opted out are excluded before anything is sent.
  3. 03

    Text first

Customers who accept text reminders get a short text with their balance and a secure link to pay in the FieldRoutes customer portal.
  4. 04

    Courtesy call if still unpaid

If the balance is still open after the waiting period (five days by default), an AI voice agent calls during local calling hours, states the balance, and points to the texted link. If nobody answers, it leaves a voicemail with the branch callback number.
  5. 05

    Spaced, capped follow-up

Attempts are spaced days apart, at most one per day, and stop after a set number of tries. A daily cap limits how many customers are contacted each morning.
  6. 06

    Hand-offs to your office

Callbacks ring the branch office through its own number. Disputes, "I already paid," and payment-plan requests go to your team, not the AI.

Names and amounts below are illustrative. The script is the same neutral courtesy reminder at every age of balance.

Sample text

Day 1, morning: text reminder

Good Ops: Hi Maria, this is Riverside Pest Control. Your account has a balance of $142.00. You can view and pay it securely here: [payment link]. Reply STOP to opt out.

Sample call

Day 6, still unpaid: courtesy call

Good Ops: Hi Maria, this is a courtesy call from Riverside Pest Control about your account. It shows a balance of $142.00, and we just texted you a secure link to pay it.

Customer: Oh, I missed that. What was it for?

Good Ops: It's for your quarterly service on September 3rd. The link opens your customer portal, so you can pay there whenever it's convenient.

Customer: Okay, I'll take care of it tonight.

Good Ops: Thanks, Maria. If you have any questions, you can call the office back at this number. Have a great day.

Reporting your office can act on

The AI Collections dashboard shows every text and call, who called back or opened the link, and which customers paid after outreach and how much, with a timeline for each customer.

Honest payment credit

Payments are matched to outreach using the FieldRoutes payment source. Autopay batches and bulk imports are never credited to a call, so the numbers reflect customers who actually acted.

Questions

FieldRoutes collections FAQ.

Is FieldRoutes the same as PestRoutes?

Yes. PestRoutes rebranded as FieldRoutes. AI Collections works with FieldRoutes accounts under either name.

Do we have to change how we bill?

No. Invoices, autopay, and the customer portal stay in FieldRoutes. Good Ops reminds customers and sends them to the portal you already have. Our pest control invoicing guide covers what to check on the billing side.

Can we start with one branch?

Yes. Each office is enabled separately, and pricing is per branch.

We use PestPac. Does this work for us?

Not yet. AI Collections works with FieldRoutes today. If you run PestPac, tell us and we will let you know when that changes.

See it on your FieldRoutes book.

We will walk through which of your accounts would be eligible, what they would receive, and how payments show up afterward.
